Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
